  • Activator Methods®: A gentle, focused, instrument-based approach to care that allows us to utilize a computer for adjustment.
  • Diversified: Perhaps the most popular style of adjustment, the Diversified technique is a manual approach to care where Dr. Schmidt will focus on removing subluxation with is hands.
  • Thompson: The Thompson Drop Table allows for an incredibly low-force adjustment as the moveable sections of the table coupled with the weight of your own body do most of the work. This is an excellent technique for pregnant women and those who need additional work on their pelvic alignment.
  • Gonstead: This science-based approach to chiropractic care involves the diagnosis of interference-wherever you’re experiencing a subluxation is where we’ll adjust you.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to see results from chiropractic care?

Each patient is unique. Until we get to know you and your health goals, history and provide a proper diagnosis, it’s difficult to say how long it will take you to see results. However, most of our patients see a tremendous improvement in roughly six weeks. At that time, we’ll stop and reevaluate your needs to see if anything should be adjusted. You can choose to continue or stop care at any time.

How will I know which technique is right for me?

Dr. Schmidt takes pride in providing patients with an accurate diagnosis-from there, he can make the best recommendations for care that will improve your health and get you feeling your best as quickly as possible. If you’ve experienced chiropractic care before, please let us know if you have a technique that you like, and we’ll do our best to incorporate that into your care.

Do you take x-rays?

Absolutely. We believe that x-rays are a must to provide you with an accurate diagnosis-allowing us to see what’s actually going on in your body is incredibly important. We use new digital x-ray technology, which offers lowered radiation exposure. Best of all, we can send you a copy right to your phone or email so that you can easily reference it. After you’ve been under our care, we can take new scans and compare them to your original x-ray to see how much has changed, what’s working, and what needs further adjustment.
